PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making ash which contains an oxide of radioactive cesium, effectively available for a cement raw material or the like by efficiently removing the radioactive cesium from the ash.SOLUTION: According to a processing method for ash containing an oxide of radioactive cesium, ash containing an oxide of radioactive cesium is heated in a reduction gas atmosphere under the presence of chlorine in a furnace, the oxide is reduced and volatilized as cesium chloride, and fly ash containing cesium chloride exhausted from a gas exhaust port is collected. |
