PURPOSE: An automatic teller machine, and a booting method of the automatic teller machine are provided to reduce time and cost for maintenance due to a shutdown of the machine. CONSTITUTION: A main hard disk drive (500) stores financial data or an OS for financial task. A backup hard disk drive (600) stores financial data or OS which are same as the one for the main hard disk drive. The main hard disk drive and backup hard disk drive connect a control board (700) comprised to selectively convert a hard disk drive for booting according to the control of CPU when the system is booting. The main hard disk drive is equipped with the backup hard disk drive, when the booting is not performed normally, the CPU converts the hard disk drive for booting to the backup hard disk drive through the control board, which performs the system booting. |
