PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording device that reduces disorder of main droplets and deterioration in an image due to satellite droplets without performing complex control.SOLUTION: The ink jet recording device includes: a plurality of nozzles; a pressurization chamber; a piezoelectric element; driving signal storage means 40 which stores a first driving signal causing the nozzles to eject main droplets the nozzles and a second driving signal causing the nozzles to eject the main droplets and permitting satellite droplets to be generated; object pixel extraction means 101 extracting an object pixel for which the first or second driving signal is set; peripheral gradation acquisition means 102 acquiring a gradation of a peripheral pixel nearby the object pixel; a driving signal supply means 60 supplying the first or second driving signal to the piezoelectric element; and a driving signal control means 103 which causes the driving signal supply means to supply the first driving signal to the piezoelectric element of a nozzle forming the object pixel when the gradation of the peripheral pixel is less than a reference value and causes the driving signal supply means to supply the second riving signal to the piezoelectric element of the nozzle forming the object pixel when the gradation of the peripheral pixel is equal to or larger than the reference value. |
