PURPOSE: A photoconductive antenna, a terahertz wave generator, a camera, an imaging apparatus, and a measurement apparatus are provided to induce terahertz wave along the longitudinal direction of semiconductor, thereby generating terahertz wave that has directivity. CONSTITUTION: A first conductivity layer (22) is made of a semiconductor material that includes a first conductive impurity. A second conductive layer (23) is made of a semiconductor material that includes a second conductive impurity which is different from the first conductive impurity. A semiconductor layer is located between the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer. A first electrode (28) is electrically connected to the first conductive layer.
