WATER LEVEL OBSERVATION UNIT

PURPOSE: A simple water level observation unit is provided to observe the water level and the tidal level rapidly at any time with an observing device capable of measuring a distance by using a laser, thereby obtaining accuracy of leveling. CONSTITUTION: A simple water level observation unit comprises a guide bar (10), a floating body (20), an observing device (30), and a horizontality control member. The guide rod is fixed in the underwater. The floating body is floated on the surface of water and moves along the guide bar. The observing device is joined onto the upper part of the guide bar and observes the distance to the floating body. The floating body is elevated along the guide bar while the horizontality of the floating body is maintained by the horizontality control member.
