PURPOSE: A galvanized steel sheet and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to restrain the generation of black patina on a Zn-Mg alloy plating layer and to improve an adhesive force between the steel sheet and the plating layer. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a galvanized steel sheet includes: a step of forming a Zn-Mg alloy plating layer (110) on the surface of a steel sheet (100) using a dry deposition process; and a step of forming a MgZn2 alloy plating layer (120) on the surface of the Zn-Mg alloy plating layer with implementing a rapid heat treatment on the surface of the Zn-Mg alloy plating layer. The rapid heat treatment is repetitively implemented with a flame at over 1000°C. The dry deposition process is one of a chemical vapor deposition process, a physical vapor deposition (PVD) process, a sputtering process, a thermal evaporation process, an induction heating evaporation process, and an ion plating process. The galvanized steel sheet includes the steel sheet, the Zn-Mg alloy plating layer, and the MgZn2 alloy plating layer.
