PURPOSE: A spindle motor is provided to improve mechanical reliability by inserting a thrust plate between the lower portion of upper part of sleeve and the upper portion of the lower part of the sleeve. CONSTITUTION: A sleeve(20) comprises the upper part of sleeve (210) and the lower part of the sleeve (220). A base(10) comprises a supporting part of a cylinder shape. The base inserts and fixes the sleeve. A hollow part is formed in the center of the supporting part. The thrust plate (60) is inserted between the lower portion of the upper part of the sleeve and the upper portion of the lower part of the sleeve. The upper part of the sleeve forms a stepped part at the lower end of inner circumferential surface. |
