The device has an LED (5) for emitting light rays, and a light reflector for reflecting the emitted light rays onto a holographic plate (6) to form a holographic image on the plate. A paraboloid mirror (7) reflects the emitted light rays (re) in parallel to the light reflector, where the light reflector forms semi-reflecting mirrors (1- 4) for reflecting the light rays on the holographic plate. The LED is paced at the focus of the paraboloid mirror, where the semi-reflecting mirrors are tilted with respect to the parallel light rays. An independent claim is also included for a method for generating a holographic image.
