PURPOSE: A laver counting device is provided to implement simplicity of work and minimization of the number of working persons, by automating total procedure from treatment to packaging of laver. CONSTITUTION: An alignment part (110) is installed in one side of a laver roaster (102), and aligns/transports laver coming from the laver roaster. A counting part (120) comprises a moving object, a counting sensor and a chain driven by a motor. The counting sensor counts laver transported by the moving object, and stacks the laver by predetermined number of pieces. When the laver is stacked by predetermined number of pieces, the counting sensor generates a control signal to drive the motor. A supply part (130) comprises a supply belt, a stopper and a sensing sensor sensing the laver which is stopped by the stopper.
