PURPOSE: A method and device for controlling a wind turbine by controlling a wind feedforward are provided to prevent a wrong wind velocity by estimating the wind velocity according to the operation state of the wind turbine. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling a wind turbine comprises following steps. Aerodynamic torque generated in a rotor of the wind turbine is estimated on the basis of the torque value of a power generator and the rotary velocity of the rotor(100). The wind velocity corresponding to the aerodynamic torque is estimated according to the operation state of the wind turbine(110). The pitch amount of a feedforward is calculated on the basis of the rotary speed of the rotor(120). The pitch amount is inputted as a pitch commence for the wind turbine. The aerodynamic torque is estimated on the basis of the equation of motion of a drive drain model.
