PURPOSE: An Internet protocol (IP) broadcasting system of the data transmission amount automatic control type through the network delay measurement and an IP broadcasting method using thereof are provided to periodically check the network delay time between many IP broadcasting clients and an IP broadcasting terminal in a IP broadcasting server; and are provided to automatically control the data transmission amount between the corresponding IP broadcasting client and the corresponding IP broadcasting terminal by the value of the checked network delay time. CONSTITUTION: An IP broadcasting server (110) sends and receives the delay time information with an IP broadcasting client server (120) and an IP broadcasting terminal (130), and calculates the corresponding delay time value through the analysis of the delay time information. The IP broadcasting client server controls the amount of data transmitted in the IP broadcasting server based on the calculated delay time value. The IP broadcasting terminal receives the transmission data of the IP broadcasting client server which is broadcasted through the IP broadcasting server.
