The orthosis has a protective shell (12) covering an interval between another protective shell (9) of kneecap, and a tibial shell (2) subjected to movement when the orthosis is folded and unfolded. The former protective shell is arranged relative to the latter protective shell so that the former protective shell slides on external surface of the latter protective shell when the orthosis is folded or unfolded, where the orthosis moves from an unfolded position to a folded position. The latter shell is completely or partially covered by the former shell in the unfolded and folded position. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a knee orthosis. |
