PURPOSE: An apparatus for casting metal sheets is provided to supply molten metal by injecting pressurized gas to a head box without additionally supplying the molten metal from the outside even through the molten metal is filled lower than a zero level. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for casting metal sheets comprises two casting rolls (11,12), a nozzle (20), and a head box (30). The nozzle is connected to a supply port (31) of the head box. The head box melts and stores alloys and supplies the molten alloy to the nozzle through the support port. The head box comprises a baffle plug (32) and an operation part (33).
