<p>The method involves providing angular position information (theta1, theta2) of pivotable parts by angular position sensors (8), where the sensors are symmetrically placed on a landing gear with respect to a longitudinal symmetry plane of an aircraft. An orientation element i.e. cylinder (6), is controlled by an angular position controller using the angular position information. An average (thetamoy) i.e. arithmetic average, of the angular position information is measured from the angular position information. The pivotable parts are designed as a shaft, wheel receiving axle, wheels and collar.</p> |
