The method involves folding a wire (50) to form a coil (40), where the wire is made of metallic silicon carbide and ceramics fiber. The coil is subjected to hot pressing in a compression mold (60) to cause agglomeration of the wire to obtain a work piece. The coil is ready to be deformed manually by cold process in three spatial directions. The coil is provided on a gauge that defines a bearing surface to support the wire during folding of the wire. The bearing surface is arranged with a profile that corresponds to a profile of the coil. A groove is formed in an external surface of the gauge. An independent claim is also included for a composite massive part.
