摘要 PURPOSE: An operation method of a device for a magnesium thermal reduction process is provided to apply to a thermal reduction retort which becomes a large size by a thickness of a condensed magnesium crown becoming thicker relatively than performing one time by repeatedly performing a condensation of a magnesium crown in a condenser. CONSTITUTION: An operation method of a device for a magnesium thermal reduction process comprises the following steps: a briquette is charged in a retort (S10); a magnesium vapor is generated by a thermal reduction reaction of the briquette loaded in the retort, and the generated magnesium vapor is condensed in a condenser (S20); a slag generated by a thermal reduction reaction is ejected (S40); the previous steps are repeated, and when a condensation amount of a magnesium vapor occupies 40-80% of a condenser diameter, a condenser in which a magnesium vapor is condensed is separated without ejecting a slag in a slag discharge step (S50); and a slag generated by a thermal reduction reaction is ejected.
