PURPOSE: An adsorption head of a surface mounting device is provided to improve the maintainability of a shaft by dividing the shaft into a top shaft and a bottom shaft. CONSTITUTION: A shaft (20) moves up and down in a main body of an adsorption head. The shaft is rotatably installed on a shaft border. An adsorption nozzle (30) absorbs an electronic component. An air path (22a) is formed in the shaft. The shaft is divided into a bottom shaft and a top shaft.
