PURPOSE: A cathode for the lithium-air battery is provided to reduce the oxygen supply fluctuation in generation of fluctuation of lack and surplus of oxygen supply in a lithium-air battery, to maintain a stable discharge state of battery, and, therefore, to remarkably improve the lithium-air battery performance. CONSTITUTION: A cathode for the lithium-air battery includes a carbon material and metallic oxide catalyst. The metallic oxide catalyst includes perovskite complex oxide represented by Chemical formula 1: (La)_(1-a)(X)_a(Y)O_3. In Chemical formula 1, X is K or Sr, Y is Mn, Fe or Cr, and a is an integer of 0<a<1. The catalyst is that metallic oxide and perovskite are mixed at a weight ratio of 1:0.01-0.5. The carbon material and catalyst(complex oxide of metallic oxide and perovskite) are used at a weight ratio of 1:0.1-2.
