PURPOSE: A sludge coagulant dose controlling method and a dehydration processing system are provided to determine an adequate amount of a coagulant dose, and a computer device within the dehydration processing system is able to administrate the adequate coagulant dose by analyzing properties using image comparison technology on an image of filmed sludge by using a filming device. CONSTITUTION: A method of a computing device of a dehydration processing system for controlling a sludge coagulant dose comprises the following steps: a step of obtaining a filmed sludge image of the coagulated sludge on the settling tank by a filming device(S210); a step of analyzing properties of the sludge by comparing the sludge film with one or more of a pre-saved standard film(S220); and a step of determining an adequate amount of a coagulant dose according to the analysis result(S230). Among the different properties of multiple standard films, one image with a similar color or texture is selected, and the properties of the selected standard film are assigned to the properties of the sludge. By comparing the color and texture of the standard film and the sludge film, the differences of the properties are analyzed. The sludge thickness according to the sludge film is measured and is used to determine the adequate dose of a coagulant.
