<p>Embodiments disclosed herein provide systems and methods for deriving population counts and device flow characteristics on wireless communication networks (100, 300, 600, 700). In a particular embodiment, a method provides receiving a first control signal transmitted by a first base station (105, 305) serving a first wireless sector (121, 321) and receiving a second control signal transmitted by a second base station (106, 306) serving a second wireless sector (122, 322). The method further provides deriving a population count of a geographic area using device identifiers enumerated within the first and second control signals.</p> |
