PURPOSE: A method for controlling the low-voltage ride through of a wind turbine is provided to detect a failure in a power grid connected with the turbine and to maintain the operation of the turbine using a control unit with reducing or maintaining the rotating speed of a generator in the turbine when the failure is generated. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling the low-voltage ride through of a wind turbine includes: a power grid failure determining step (S22) of determining whether or not a failure is generated in a power grid connected with the turbine in a normal operation; a low-voltage ride through rule determining step (S23) of determining whether or not the failure satisfies a first condition; a low-voltage compensation operating step (S24) of changing the operation mode of the turbine into a power grid failure operation mode and continuing to operate the turbine without stop when the failure satisfies the first condition; and a first turbine stopping step (S25) of stopping the turbine when the failure does not satisfies the first condition.
