摘要 <p>PURPOSE: An austenitic stainless steel having an excellent corrosive resistance and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to optimize the content of a trace element (Sn) and a condition for strip casting, thereby applying the same to an exhaust gas recirculation component for a heat exchanger or a diesel engine used in a sulfuric acid dew point atmosphere. CONSTITUTION: An austenitic stainless steel having an excellent corrosive resistance includes 0.01 to 0.03 wt% of C, 0.01 to 0.03 wt% of N, 0.01 to 0.7 wt% of Si, 0.8 to 1.2 wt% of Mn, 0.001 to 0.035 wt% of P, 0.001 to 0.005 wt% of S, 15.0 to 19.0 wt% of Cr, 8 to 12 wt% of Ni, 0.01 to 1.0 wt% of Mo, 0.1 to 0.3 wt% of Sn, and remnants Fe and inevitable impurities. The weight loss rate (dew point sulfuric acid corrosive resistance, %) of the steel is below 70% after the steel is submerged in a 30% sulfuric acid solution at 50°C for two days. Through a trans- varestraint method, the steel has a crack length of 200 micrometers in a welding portion.
