PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise efficiency of a gas compressor.SOLUTION: A gas compressor is provided with a cylinder member 21, a rotor 22, and vanes 25. A proximity section 51 is provided between the cylinder member 21 and the rotor 22, and this forms a single cylinder chamber 27 for performing only one cycle of compression of a refrigerant gas 26 per rotation. At least one auxiliary discharge section 54 is provided upstream of a discharge section 29. When the pressure of the refrigerant gas 26 within a compression chamber 24 reaches a discharge pressure P, the auxiliary discharge section 54 releases the pressure within the compression chamber 24 and maintains the pressure at the discharge pressure P. |
