PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an obstacle alarm device capable of clearly indicating presence of an obstacle approaching a vehicle for a driver without obstructing a view of the peripheral circumstances of the vehicle.SOLUTION: An obstacle alarm device 100 includes: a photographed image acquisition unit for acquiring a photographed image G of a scene at the back of a vehicle 1; a photographed-image-of-interest generation unit for generating a photographed image-of-interest based on the photographed image G; an object presence determination unit for determining whether an object 7 is present in an outside area O outside the photographed image-of-interest; a movement direction determination unit for determining a movement direction of the object 7 in the outside area O; and an indication image output unit for displaying a frame index W having an outline smaller than a contour of the photographed image-of-interest until the object 7 enters the photographed image-of-interest after the object 7 in the outside area O is determined to move to a center side of the photographed image-of-interest by the movement direction determination unit. |
