PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power control system and power control method, capable of achieving continuous supply of a fixed amount of electric power by instantaneously supplying a fixed amount of electric power even when electric power from a main power supply is interrupted.SOLUTION: The power control system includes: an energy device 104; a secondary cell 105 employing a chemical reaction; switches SW1-SW3 for changing over a power supply path; and a power control apparatus 102 that changes over a power supply source by operating the switches SW1-SW3. The power control apparatus 102, when it is inappropriate to set a power network 101 at a power supply source, changes over the power supply source from the power network 101 to the energy device 104 and, when the voltage of the energy device 104 is less than a threshold value, changes over the power supply source from the energy device 104 to the secondary cell 105. |
