PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable serial communication method, a communication device and a serial communication system which, while incorporating an error detection function, cut back the number of frames from conventional three to two, thereby reducing a communication latency and augmenting a communication bandwidth by an amount equal to one frame.SOLUTION: In the first communication phase, the address of read data is transmitted from a master device 100, and a slave device 200 starts executing a read data readout process upon receiving the address to find a parity and then returns the parity to the master device 100 side during the same phase by taking advantage of full duplex communication. In the next phase, the read data is transmitted from the slave device 200 to the master device 100, and the master device 100 receives the read data and checks it for parity by using the previously received parity. |
