A saddle-type electric vehicle (1) is provided with a battery case (23) which stores a battery (22) functioning as the power source for an electric motor and which is disposed between the front wheel (2) and the back wheel (3), and a swing arm (16) of which the front end part is connected in a swingable manner to a vehicle frame (4) and of which the rear end part supports the back wheel (3) in a rotatable manner.
