WEBPAGE BROWSING METHOD AND DEVICE

Disclosed are a webpage browsing method and device. The method comprises: when a page thread creates a plug-in/control object, creating a plug-in/control process independent from a page process for the plug-in/control object; placing the independent plug-in/control process into a sandbox to run; and browsing a webpage by implementing inter-process communication between the plug-in/control process and the page process, the page process running outside the sandbox. By means of the present invention, the web browsing security is guaranteed, and meanwhile the running stability of the browser is enhanced.
