PURPOSE: A flange formation method of a pipe using a flanging machine and a flanging machine are provided to form a flange integrally by accurately widening an end of a flange not by a welding. CONSTITUTION: A flanging machine comprises a body, a pipe guide jig, a frame, a rotary tool bundle (40), a tool head (50), a forming pin (30), an angle control means, a driving means, and a mobile tool etc. The pipe guide jig fixes a pipe end. The frame is arranged to be separated from the pipe guide jig at a specified interval. The forming pin is contacted with an inner surface of the pipe end, and the pipe end is widened. The rotary tool bundle is rotated by a rotary shaft around a longitudinal axis of the pipe. The angle control means rotates the forming pin around a first axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The driving means rotates the rotary shaft of the rotary tool bundle.
