PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption by power down while reducing a chip area.SOLUTION: A semiconductor memory device includes a memory cell array 5 including a plurality of memory cells, a peripheral circuit 401 connected to the memory cell array by a plurality of input/output lines MAIN-IO(T/B), and a power supply circuit 501, 601 which supplies an operation voltage to the memory cell array 5 and the peripheral circuit 401 during normal operation mode, and stops the supply of the operation voltage to the memory cell array without stopping the supply of the operation voltage to the peripheral circuit 401 during power down mode. |
