PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique enabling a user to execute printing to a desired printer, while decreasing a communication load between a printing mediation server and a plurality of printers.SOLUTION: A printer 10 executes a state confirmation communication with a printing mediation server 80, when the printer 10 is a master printer, and does not execute the state confirmation communication with the printing mediation server 80, when the printer 10 is a slave printer. When the printer 10 is the master printer, the printer 10 receives a print notice from the printing mediation server 80. Then, when the printer 10 is selected by a user, the printer 10 executes the printing. Also, even if the printer 10 is the slave printer, and when the printer 10 is selected by the user, after the print notice is transmitted from the printing mediation server 80 to the master printer, the printer 10 executes the printing. |
