PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environment which would help the user becomes aware of communication addressed to his portable telephone.SOLUTION: A communication device comprises a notification destination table, a receiving unit, a notification unit, and a transmitting unit. The notification destination table retains therein a correlated record of portable telephone terminals and notification destination devices to which a request for call termination is notified when call termination at a portable telephone terminal is requested. The receiving unit receives a call termination request message notifying a request for call termination at one of the portable telephone terminals recorded in the notification destination table. The notification unit generates a notification message which notifies a target terminal which is one of the portable telephone terminals notified of the request for call termination by the call termination request message and the notification destination device correlated to the target terminal of a request for call termination at the target terminal. The transmitting unit transmits the notification message. The notification unit repeatedly generates the notification message until the receiving unit receives a communication start message indicating that communication with the party who requested call termination has started from the target terminal or the notification destination device correlated to the target terminal. |
