PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side guide device capable of suppressing transmission of push-back force when pressing a side guide to a side end of a rolled material to a pusher bar driving mechanism as an impact force, without causing complication of the structure and increase of the number of components.SOLUTION: A piston 21 is provided for each edge of a pusher bar 7 which presses a pair of right/left side guides arranged on both sides of a conveyance table for conveying the rolled material to side ends of the rolled material. A piston storing chamber 22 for storing the piston 21 to be movable in the longitudinal direction of the pusher bar 7 is formed inside the side guide 5. A buffer spring 26 formed to be coil-shaped and to have an outer diameter smaller than a diameter of the piston 21 is provided between an inner wall surface 23 formed in the piston storing chamber 22 so as to face to the edge of the piston 21, and the piston 21. |
