PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of improving efficiency of control processing while ensuring the security of communication related to a game.SOLUTION: As a communication system between a game controller 54 (control means) and a card unit 15 (medium control unit), the game machine has: a first communication system of not ciphering information with each other; a second communication system of providing a first kind ciphering circuit 431 (first ciphering means) and a first kind deciphering circuit 441 (first deciphering means) corresponding to the first kind ciphering circuit, in each of the game controller 54 and the card unit 15 to enable ciphering and deciphering with each other; and a third communication system of providing a second kind ciphering circuit 432 (second ciphering means) and a second kind deciphering circuit 442 (second deciphering means) corresponding the second kind ciphering circuit in the game controller 54 but not including the circuit 432 and the circuit 442 in the card unit 15 to enable ciphering and deciphering only in the game controller 54. |
