Provided is a touch-panel affixing structure wherein, when injection-molding a case, a glass substrate for a touch panel is insert-molded such that the case and the glass substrate form a single piece, with no gaps therebetween. A synthetic-resin film, the edges of which are near the perimeter of the glass substrate, is bonded to the glass substrate, and the glass substrate with the synthetic-resin film bonded thereto is insert-molded into a molded body constituting part of the case. During said molding, molten synthetic resin from which the molded body is molded fuses to the edges of the synthetic-resin film, resulting in the glass substrate and the molded body forming a single piece with the synthetic-resin film bonded to the glass substrate interposed therebetween such that no rattling occurs.
