PURPOSE: A disk brake is provided to maintain an adhesive core to be attached to a pad plate for a long term and to prevent the deformation and detachment of the adhesive core through rotation torque. CONSTITUTION: A disk brake(100) comprises a caliper housing(10), a disk(1), a pair of pad plates(30,40), a carrier(20), an adhesive core(50), and a fixing member(80). The caliper housing comprises a piston(13) which is installed for moving back and forth by brake fluid pressure. The disk is rotated with a wheel. A pair of pad plates comprises pads(31,41) which compressively adheres to the inner side of the disk. The carrier is fixed to a vehicle body. The adhesive core adheres to the outer side of the pad plates. The fixing member firmly binds a pair of pad plates to the adhesive core. |
