#CMT# #/CMT# The device (1) has a low pressure damper (2) for compensating pulsations in low pressure fluid, and provided with a damper housing (3), an inlet (4) for the fluid and an outlet (5) for the fluid. A high-pressure outlet (11) for the fluid from a pressure increasing chamber (8) i.e. pump chamber, opens during reaching preset fluid pressure. A piston (9) is movably driven in the chamber. The damper housing or a part of the housing is partially formed in an elastically deformable manner to compensate pulsations in the low pressure fluid. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Device e.g. fuel pump (claimed) such as high-pressure fuel pump, rotary pump and linear pump, for pressure increase and transferring of fluid i.e. fuel, that is supplied under low pressure. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The damper housing or the part of the housing is partially formed in an elastically deformable manner to compensate the pulsations in the low pressure fluid, thus enabling corresponding volume change of the low-pressure damper, and enabling simple and inexpensive production of the device while allowing retrofitting of pressure increasing devices.
