PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rainfall prediction method with which a location of a local heavy rainfall area can be predicted with high precision.SOLUTION: On the basis of a rainfall area 20 indicating an overall rainfall location and a moving vector of the rainfall area 20, a rainfall area location after the lapse of a predetermined time is identified. On the basis of a local rainfall area 21 indicating horizontal scale smaller than that of the rainfall area inside the rainfall area and a moving vector of the local rainfall area 21, a local rainfall area location after the lapse of the predetermined time is identified, and the rainfall area 20 and the local rainfall area 21 after the lapse of the predetermined time are combined. |
