PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charger which enables easy positioning of connectors, does not limit a standing position for the operation, reduces a force required for inserting and pulling out the charging connector thereby allowing a worker to conduct the operation while carrying goods in a charging operation to a vehicle.SOLUTION: A charger transmits power from a power transmission coil 6 housed in a charging connector 2 to a power reception coil 8 housed in a power reception connector 4 on the vehicle side in a non contact manner when charging a battery (not shown) of a vehicle. The charging connector 2 includes: a flat power transmission side housing (2) housing the power transmission coil 6; an enclosure wall 13 provided at an outer edge of the power transmission side housing (2) and partially enclosing a flat surface that should face the power reception connector 4 of the power transmission side housing (2); and an inner flange 12 provided at a tip of the enclosure wall 13. The power reception connector 4 includes: a flat power reception side housing (4) housing the power reception coil 8; and a groove 11 which is provided at a periphery of a side surface of the power reception side housing (4) and hooks the internal flange 12.
