PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flavor improver for a beverage and liquid food which is improved to provide a beverage and liquid food reduced in feeling of remaining in the mouth, giving good sharpness and a refreshing feeling, and decreasing the harsh taste, and easy to drink, and to provide the beverage and liquid food having such a texture.SOLUTION: The problem is solved by containing polyglycerol fatty acid ester in the beverage and liquid food, wherein the plyglycerol fatty acid ester has a constituent fatty acid being myristic acid or oleic acid, and has an HLB of more than 8. |
