PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection head which includes a structure for improving rigidity around a pressure chamber and can remove air bubble in the pressure chamber and expel ink.SOLUTION: The liquid ejection head 12 includes: a plurality of cylindrical pressure chambers 3 respectively communicating with a plurality of ejection orifices 10 for ejecting a liquid, storing the liquid to be ejected from the plurality of ejection orifices 10, having at least part of a wall part forming each of the plurality of pressure chambers 3 formed with a piezoelectric member, and ejecting the liquid from ejection orifices 10 by deformation of the piezoelectric member; and a plurality of space parts 4a, 4b disposed around the respective pressure chambers 3 at intervals with respect to the plurality of pressure chambers 3, and extended in parallel to the plurality of cylindrical pressure chambers 3. The space parts 4b of the plurality of space parts 4a, 4b are decompressable, wherein a gas permeable member 14 is provided between the pressure chambers 3 and the decompressable space parts 4b so that a gas inside the pressure chambers 3 is exhausted via the decompressable space portions 4b. |
