PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit for an air conditioner, which includes a spray nozzle for spraying water to the flow of air introduced into a heat exchanger and can sufficiently improve the cooling efficiency of a refrigerant in the heat exchanger even when the flow of the air has non-uniform wind speed distribution.SOLUTION: The outdoor unit 10 of the air conditioner 1 includes the heat exchanger 12 and a plurality of the spray nozzles 22 for spraying water to the flow of the air introduced into the heat exchanger 12. In the plurality of the spray nozzles 22, the quantity of water to be sprayed is larger in a region where the wind speed in the flow of the air is higher. |
