PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a color filter which can solve problems such as film peeling and characteristic deterioration caused by an influence of a development residue generated in a pattern development process of a black matrix and a colored layer in manufacture of a color filter, is inexpensive, is simple and can guarantee the product quality.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the color filter includes the steps of: forming a colored coating film using a colored composition containing a coloring agent, a transparent resin, a monomer having an ethylenically unsaturated double bond and a photopolymerization initiator, as a colored layer; forming a colored coating film using a colored composition containing a coloring agent, a transparent resin, a monomer having an ethylenically unsaturated double bond and a photopolymerization initiator having an oxime ester group, as a black matrix; irradiating the surface of a color filter substrate with excimer UV before forming a transparent conductive film; and then cleaning and decomposing a residue of a photosensitive resin using a brush for substrate cleaning. |
