PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device for an inspection device capable of accurately detecting a foreign matter when a transparent or nearly transparent foreign matter is mixed in liquid filled in a glass bottle, and capable of accurately detecting a chip of a bottle mouth part of the glass bottle.SOLUTION: The illumination device is installed to the inspection device for inspecting whether or not there is a foreign matter in liquid e filled in a glass bottle 1 by arranging an illumination 3 and a camera 4 facing each other so as to hold the glass bottle 1 in an upright state, which is an inspection object, therebetween, and by providing a shading plate 5 for covering part of an illumination light emitting surface for emitting illumination light L from the illumination 3 arranged facing the camera 4 and covering a center part in a horizontal direction of the illumination light emitting surface by the shading plate 5, the liquid inside the glass bottle 1 is illuminated only by the illumination light L emitted from both sides of the illumination light emitting surface. |
