PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a passenger conveyor alleviating congestion by operating at an appropriate speed corresponding to the number of users.SOLUTION: A control device of a passenger conveyor includes a drive device 5, an endless chain 2 connected to the drive device 5, a plurality of steps 1 fixed to a chain 2 and circulatingly moving together with the chain 2, and further a sensor unit 13 detecting the number of the passengers at an entrance of the passengers. The operation speed can be switched in three or more stages depending on the number of the passengers. |
