PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a straddle type electric vehicle which can reliably check a fitted state even if charging is performed by using a portable battery charger.SOLUTION: When a charging plug 55 and a receptacle 53 reach complete fitting positions, a claw 128a of the charging plug 55 serving as a notification means is locked to a locking step 54a of the receptacle 53, and a machine sound is generated at this moment. Thus, since the notification of the fitted state of the charging plug 55 and the receptacle 53 is provided by a mechanical structure including the charging plug 55 and the receptacle 53, the notification means is brought into operation even before the portable battery charger 7 is connected to a power source. Consequently, a charging operator can reliably check the fitted state of the charging plug 55 and the receptacle 53. |
