PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strong footstool or the like with a simple structure that is an extension type which extends to twice as large as a top plate of one footstool or the like and such that an extension never separates and is united when the footstool or the like is housed.SOLUTION: Two footstools are provided which are substantially in the same shape and of the same size and equal in height of a top plate while each having leg bodies at four corners of the top plate. When one is a main footstool 1 and the other is a first auxiliary footstool 4 such that a pair of leg bodies among four leg bodies of the footstool 1 or the first auxiliary footstool 4 are front leg bodies and the other pair are rear foot bodies, a width between outer side faces of a front pair of leg bodies 3a of the main footstool 1 is made narrower than a width between outer side faces of a rear pair of leg bodies 3b, the first auxiliary footstool 4 has a front pair of leg bodies 6a provided on both sides of a top plate 5 to be positioned outside the rear leg bodies 3b of the main footstool 1, and lock pieces 7 are projected inward from a front pair of leg bodies 6a of the first auxiliary footstool 4, and not locked to the front pair of leg bodies 3a of the main footstool 1, but locked to the rear leg bodies 3b. |
