Disclosed are a web page content loading control method and device. The method comprises: receiving a web page access request; according to the web page access request, reading a corresponding prestored web page content locally and loading same; according to the web page access request, obtaining a web page content from a server and caching the obtained content locally; and after completely or partially obtaining the web page content, reading the cached content and updating the currently loaded web page content.
