<p>[Problem] To facilitate the verification of progress of the scanning process when generating acoustic images by scanning using a probe. [Means of Solving the Problem] An acoustic image generating device (10) comprising a probe (11) having an ultrasonic transducer (20a), said acoustic image generating device (10) being provided with: a scanning length setting means (45) for setting the target scanning length (L0) in the scanning process of the probe (11); coordinate acquisition means (15, 41, 42) that sequentially acquire the coordinates in the actual space of the probe (11), a scanning length calculation means (46) that calculates the scanning length (L) on the basis of the coordinates acquires by the coordinate acquisition means; a progress display generating means (47) that generates the progress display (50) of the scanning process on the basis of the target scanning length (L0) and the scanning length (L); and a display means (14) that displays the progress display (50).</p> |
