LIGHT UNIFORMING ELEMENT AND LIGHT SOURCE SYSTEM

A light uniforming element used for shaping incident light generated by a light source (61) comprises a free-form surface (63, 64). The free-form surface is formed through deformation of a standard curved surface (62) located at a predetermined position in the direction of the central axis of the light source. In the direction from the central axis to the lateral of the central axis, except in the direction of the central axis, the differences between incident angles of the incident light on the free-form surface (63, 64) and incident angles of the incident light on the standard curved surface (62) maintain the same sign; the absolute values of the differences between incident angles of the incident light on the free-form surface (63, 64) and incident angles of the incident light on the standard curved surface (62) monotonically increase; the change rates of the differences between incident angles of the incident light on the free-form surface (63, 64) and incident angles of the incident light on the standard curved surface (62) descend, to make the emergent light of the free-form surface (63, 64) have a more uniform light intensity distribution within a predetermined solid angle than the incident light do. A light source system comprising above light uniforming element is provided.
